DESCRIPTION:Chalk the Uptown is brought to you by Qunitons Crafthouse and Collinsville Chamber of Commerce will be held in Uptown Collinsville on October 19th.\n\nParticipants will take over the sidewalks throughout Uptown Main St. Each registrant will be assigned a space and can use adjacent spaces as their prep station.\n\nThe day includes more than just coloring\, bring the family up to enjoy family fun activities located at the Collinsville Library parking lot and visit participating Uptown businesses that have specials to enjoy.\n\nEvent Pricing:\n\n Each registration will receive one event shirt (additional shirts will be available to purchase) one supply bucket that includes chalk.\n\n Tickets are transferrable but non-refundable. A rain date is scheduled for October 26th should the weather be unfavorable.\n\nREGISTRATION CLOSES ON OCTOBER 10TH.\n\nKids Space (located near the Library Parking Lot): $20\n\nUp to 4 people per space\n\nFun Space: $30\n\nUp to 4 people per space\n\nOrganization/Club Space: $75\n\nIncludes 5 space that can hold up to 12 people\n\nCompetitive Space: $40 (Quintons Crafthouse Block)\n\nUp to 2 people per space\n\nThis category will have access to an endless amount of chalk\, will be judged and announced at end of the event.\n\nWinners will receive:\n\nFirst Place = $120\n\nSecond Place = $80\n\nThird Place = $40\n\nPeople's Choice = Collinsville Gift Basket\n\nFAQ\n\nWhat are the design requirements?\n\n Can only include decorative design\, patterns\, logos\, characters\, portrait. It is completely up to you but it must be family friendly.\n\n Cannot draw images perceived as hurtful\, harmful or hateful or political commentary. We do retain the right to remove or request edits\, at our discretion\, to any content that is not appropriate for the general public.\n\nWhere are the squares?\n\n Participants will be located on the sidewalks from the Collinsville Library to the end of the block near 159. Spaces will be numbered\, assigned and given to you at registration. There will be adjacent spaces be left open to use as prep station. The sidewalk closest to the buildings will remain clear of any items for pedestrian use. Any items in the way will be asked to move.\n\nWho can participate?\n\n Everyone! Businesses\, individuals\, families\, clubs\, friends the entire community is welcomed.\n\nWhat can I bring from home?\n\n Items to kneel/sit on to make it more comfortable.\n\n Your own stencils\, brushes or non-oil chalk\, rags\, towels\n\nWhat is the timeline for the day?\n\n 10:30am Registration begins. Participants will receive space number and bucket of supplies.\n\n 11am 2pm: Activities at the Library will be open and observers are welcome to walk around and see beautiful artwork. Take advantage of all that Uptown has to offer from restaurants\, mural photo opportunities and shopping\, some participating businesses will offer specials and sales.\n\n Time remaining warnings will be given at 1:30 and 1:45pm. All coloring stops at 2pm.\n\n 2:00 pm will begin judging for the Competition Spaces and public judging for People's Choice
