DESCRIPTION:The federal Social Security Administration (SSA) is best known for its retirement services\, but it has more to offer and can do so at the touch of your fingertips.   \n\n    Learn more about SSA services\, as well as how you can access your personal Social Security information through an online SSA account.  A representative from the Belleville SSA office will help you get started with your online account and tell you more about the SSA's services.\n\n    This program is free\, but advance registration is required.  Please call the library at 618-344-1112 or visit the Main Desk to sign up.\n\n \n\nAbout the Library District\n\n The Mississippi Valley Library District has served the Collinsville area since 1915 and the Fairmont City area since 2004.  In addition to books\, movies\, and music\, the Library District provides free access to e-books and downloadable movies\, magazines\, and audiobooks.  The Library District is a member of the Illinois Heartland Library System and the SHARE resource sharing consortium\, which connects over 200 libraries in southern and central Illinois.
