DESCRIPTION:SJCC's Lunch and Learns are a monthly event for caregivers and seniors to come together\, learn skills and make connections in a safe and supportive setting over lunch. January's event will be presented by Ann Marie Mohr of Project Present.\n\nProject Present will focus on improving the quality of life for caregivers and individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias through strengthening communication practices and the application of improvisation. The presentation will help individuals acquire a new set of verbal and nonverbal tools to create connection\, reduce stress\, foster creative problem solving\, and cultivate creativity. Attendees will learn communication strategies to diffuse challenging situations and navigate stressful moments.
