"Cars" Drive in family movie night

amilies are invited to join the City of Collinsville Parks & Recreation Department for a special, FREE "Cars" Drive-In Family Movie Night to celebrate Route 66's Centennial as part of the Last 100 Miles Festival on Saturday, October 10th!
  
Registration opens on Tuesday, August 18th by calling the Parks & Recreation Department at 618-346-7529.
 
The first 40 registrants will be able to pick-up supplies (starting on September 14th) to design a 'car' that they'll then bring – fully decorated and ready to assemble – to the Collins House lawn on the evening of the Movie Night. Each family member who is interested in designing a car will need to register.
 
There'll be family-friendly activities starting at 5:30pm including trophies being awarded for selected decorated DIY Cars, games, snacks and more – followed by the movie, which will start at approximately 6:45pm.

"Prominent Power Wheels"
"Most Colorful Car"
"Best Exterior" 
"Best Interior"
Families who hear about the event after registration is full/all of the DIY Car Kits have been claimed are still welcome to attend and participate in all of the other activities at the event. Power Wheels, Cozy Coupes, pedal cars and the like are also encouraged at the event!
