Members of the Collinsville Sunrise Kiwanis Club will be handing out Oranges in exchange for monetary donations. They will be uptown Collinsville at Main & Center and Clay & Center from 8am to 2pm on Saturday.
The money raised will primarily be used to make Christmas better for 50 students from low-income families in the Collinsville Unit 10 School District. Each year, the group receives the names of 50 needy children from the Unit 10 administration. The children are taken to a store, where they are allowed to buy clothes worth about $100-150.
