Something’s a-foul at the library, and it’s up to you to figure out what’s going on.
Adults participating in the Mississippi Valley Library District’s summer reading program are invited to the Blum House on Saturday, August 2 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM to figure out “whodunit.” The set-up: in May a library staff member was found deceased shortly after the summer reading program kick-off ended. Authorities have released clues weekly, which are being posted in the library and on the library’s Facebook page, in hopes that budding sleuths can help to narrow down the lists of suspects, motives, causes of death, and location of death. Authorities plan to reveal the solution at the murder mystery dinner on August 2. Those who attend are eligible to win a prize for correctly solving the puzzle!
