The IL Metro East Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SIUE, in partnership with The Greater Belleville Chamber, Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) and SW Illinois Chapter of SCORE, will present on September 21st a unique learning opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and future business owners.
The SBDC's informative "Starting a Business in Illinois" workshop will be held in the Greater Belleville area on September 21st and will instruct attendees on how to
- develop a viable business plan;
- properly register business with state and/or local agencies; and
- explore business financing options.
In addition, attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions about a specific business idea and any next steps in their startup process. This course is highly recommended for anyone developing a new for-profit business concept.
