    Job Description
    Job Description – Teller:
    We are a local, community-focused financial institution looking for a highly motivated self-starter.  The ideal candidate is disciplined, yet outgoing, and strives to provide exceptional customer service.   Tellers will rotate between our Collinsville main office and the Troy branch office as needed.

    A Teller must be able to:
    • Provide superior customer service promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
    • Effectively communicate and cooperate with customers, co-workers, managers, directors & external contacts.
    • Remain flexible to accommodate branch staffing needs
    • Work independently and in a team setting
    • Follow policies & procedures
    • Contribute to team meetings and organization culture
    Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
    • Balance cash drawer daily.
    • Cross-sell products & services, explaining various types of accounts and suggesting the use of these services.
    • Perform branch opening and closing duties.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Cash-handling experience
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Basic math & accounting skills
    • Computer and network navigation skills
    • At least one year cash handling required; banking experience preferred
    • High School diploma or equivalent considered with experience
    The position is a full-time hourly position with 37 hours per week Monday-Saturday with a weekday off each week and a paid Saturday off per month along with traditional bank holidays.
