    Lifeguard  Accepting Applications
    Flexible hours (20-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
      Minimum qualifications: At least 16 years old. Must be at least 54 inches tall, able to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to four hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Lifeguard license, first aid and CPR certification required before season begins. Certification can be gained through Splash City. Employment can not be provided without certification.
      Lifeguards oversee the safety of all guests and enhance their enjoyment of the facilities through constant supervision, consistent rule enforcement, friendly service a helpful attitude, and, when necessary, performing rescues.       Minimum qualifications: 18 years or older. At least 54 inches tall, ability to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to two hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Lifeguard license, first aid and CPR certification required before opening day.
      Members of management ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service through hands-on contact with guests and supervision of staff and park operations.     Flexible hours (15-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
      Minimum qualifications: High school diploma and prior organized and/or administrative experience. Must be at least 18 years old, be bondable, able to see and hear guests and staff, have basic computer knowledge, be able to count money and fill out cash reports. Able to lift 40 pounds to chest height and able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must have excellent communication and organizations skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency.
      Guest Services staff ensure the efficient operation of parties, group reservations and private rentals by serving as host/hostess to guests, organizing programs, processing transactions efficiently, keeping records, answering telephones and disseminating information. Additional duties may include visiting local businesses to promote Splash City.       Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, able to work independently with minimal supervision, capable of lifting 50 pounds to shoulder height, able to bend to the floor and reach/lift overhead.       Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old. Must be enthusiastic and great with kids and adults. Classes consist of group and private lessons with children as young as 3 years old.     Water Park EMT Accepting Applications
      Part-time, seasonal position (30-40 hrs), nights and weekends. Salary dependent on qualifications.
    Job summary: Respond to medical emergency calls within the park and provide medical care to those injured or ill.
    Specific duties: Patient assessments, including physical examination and First Aid and Basic Life Support including airway management, ventilator support, circulatory and shock management, clinical assessment. medication administration. Will have to recognize the need for special or additional assistance; including Advanced Life Support, ambulance transport, patient extrication, rescue or other services. Will be responsible for appropriately interviewing patients, family members, bystanders, and witnesses. May also be responsible for any Physician contact, patient transfer and referral, transfer of care and follow up. Understands and performs appropriately under the Emergency Action Plan. Infection control, biohazardous material identification, clean up and disposal. Basic identification of hazardous atmospheres, materials, and incidents. Administrative duties may include filing, distribution, computer operations, typing and data entry. Understands, supports and follows the Standard Operating Procedures and Patient Care Protocols. Performs other duties as assigned, needed, or required.
      Minimum qualitfications: High school diploma or GED. Possesses and maintains a valid and current Illinois State Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certification and completes all requirements for renewal, including continuing education classes or hours. Possesses and maintains a valid and current American Heart Association or an accepted equivalent nationally standardized Healthcare Provider CPR certification card. Possesses and maintains a valid and current state Driver’s License. Ability to communicate well, verbally and in written form, ability to interpret written, oral, and diagnostic form instructions. Ability to appropriately interview patient, family members, bystanders, and witnesses. Ability to document in writing, all relevant information in a prescribed format. Ability to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads. Manipulate and operate tools, equipment, instruments, implements and etc. to the specifications, standards, etc, of the manufacturer or Patient Care Protocols. Ability to use good judgment and remain calm in high stress situations. Ability to work effectively in an fast paced environment
    Ability to calculate weight and volume ratios and read small print both under life threatening time restrictions. Good manual dexterity, with ability to perform all tasks related to the highest quality of patient care and with ability to handle tools, implements, etc. in order to perform all tasks related to the duties of Health Services personnel. Ability to walk, run, bend, stoop, and crawl on uneven terrain.     Aqua Aerobics Instructor Accepting Applications
    Part-time, seasonal position, nights.
    Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old. Previous water aerobics/fitness class instruction strongly preferred. Must be available to work evenings.
      Teach every class scheduled through the entire session. Prepare a workout based on the needs and the ability of participates and provide a visual of adaptations. Arrive on deck 10 minutes prior to the start of the first class and have all necessary equipment ready before class. Start and end classes on time.  Be in the water with the class unless demonstrating or observing movement. Effectively develop, teach a well structured class and gives alternatives when needed. Maintain a dynamic and personable attitude while instructing participants. Attend all mandatory staff meetings, workshops, or trainings. Prepare all teaching materials and equipment prior to start of class as well as returns all equipment back at the conclusion of class.
