    Job Description
    The City of Collinsville is accepting applications for the seasonal position of Concessions Manager. This position provides customer service while selling, preparing, and serving food items and beverages to patrons of Collinsville’s Waterpark and Jaycee Sports Complex.

    The Concessions Manager will assist the Superintendents of Aquatics and Recreation with inventory and stocking, as well as performing opening and closing duties of concession stands. The Concessions Manager will oversee staff, inventory, cash handling and deposits.

    Position begins Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend with hiring and training to begin earlier.
    Candidates must have the ability to work staggered shift assignments as necessary including evenings, weekends and holidays; the ability to work in hot, cold, wet and/or other unpleasant outdoor conditions; and the ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.

    Hourly Rate is $14.00 per hour.

    Minimum Qualifications
     18 years of age or older
     Six months of prior paid experience in municipal or commercial food industry
     Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office and other software program and to accurately count money and run reports.
    Preferred Qualifications
     Individuals that are certified as a Food Manager or can gain certification by employment and have 1-3 years of concession management experience
     Familiarity with money handling, group rentals, recreation software, and customer service
     Bilingual in Spanish
     Background with security, accounting and clerical work
     CPR Certified or the ability to achieve certification by start date
