    The State of Illinois requires one certified food manager per shift and all other employees handling food must be certified food handlers.
    This includes all businesses that handle food in any manner:
    • Restaurants
    • Bars (even if just serving frozen pizzas)
    • Butcher shops
    • Adult and child day care
    • Schools
    • Recreational facilities (offering food to the public), etc.  
     
    A ServSafe Food Instructor (certified with the National Restaurant Association and the State of Illinois) will be offering a Certified Food Protection Manager’s Class/Exam in Wood River, IL. Please see attached flyer for more information and RSVP today to reserve a spot!
