Hour of Code at Collinsville Library
Children and teens age 8-14 are invited to learn about basic computer programming concepts at an after-school event at the Collinsville Memorial Library Center.
On Thursday, January 14 at 4:00 PM, participants will explore aspects of programming through interactive games during the Hour of Code. Space is limited for this engaging, educational event and advance registration is required. Please sign up by calling the library at 618-344-1112, visiting a service desk, or registering online at www.collinsvillelibrary.org.
The library is located at 408 West Main Street and is a member of the Mississippi Valley Library District.
About the Library District
The Mississippi Valley Library District has served the Collinsville area since 1915 and the Fairmont City area since 2004. In addition to books, movies, and music, the Library District provides free access to e-books, e-magazines, video games, and streaming music and movies.
