Teen Field Trip to Maker Lab with Collinsville Library
The Collinsville Memorial Library Center and the Fairmont City Library Center have a special treat for teens age 12-18!
On Saturday, May 21 the Library Centers are leading a field trip to a full-scale maker lab in St. Louis. The Arch Reactor lab is full of electronics, tools, and other opportunities to make all kinds of fun things. From 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, participants will have the chance to learn more about laser cutters and 3D printers, as well as get hands-on experience with some special projects.
The bus leaves the Collinsville Library at 9:35 AM and will stop at the Fairmont City Library at 9:45 AM to pick up more participants. Lunch will be provided by the Library Centers. Participants will be dropped off at the Fairmont City Library at 3:30 PM and at the Collinsville Library at 3:45 PM.
Space is limited to 15 people per Library Center for this free event. Please sign up in advance by calling the Collinsville Library at 618-344-1112 or the Fairmont City Library at 618-482-3966.
